Radisson Hotels Americas Integration

On August 11, 2022, Choice Hotels completed the acquisition of Radisson Hotels Americas – the most significant transaction in the company’s more than 80-year history.

Adding nine of the industry’s most recognized brands to Choice’s portfolio, Radisson Hotels Americas helped catapult Choice into new markets and segments as well as expanded the company’s global footprint to over 7,500 hotels and nearly 650,000 rooms in 46 countries.

Leveraging Hank Nathan’s many years of experience in the hotel industry – including leading other successful mergers and acquisitions, as well as high-profile brand launches – HSN PR played an important role in developing internal and external communications to inspire enthusiasm and alleviate any potential concerns about the Radisson acquisition. This included developing customized remarks for an array of CEO speaking engagements, including with both Choice and Radisson associates, as well as several franchisee-facing communications throughout the integration.
